heard that the prices for d80 dropped from 2.xK to 1.6K today at John316 and he sold more than 15 sets just today itself!!!

I was lookin at the nikon camera price list in the Nikon thread and the D80 Kit there is not $2k+ leh, its more like $1.7k to $1.8k. Unless those prices don't inc GST?

Hey hey.. i just got my D80 kit yesterday at John 3:16 (super crowded yeah!)... as what resnol10 mentioned... at $1620 - it comes with the 18-135 kit lens, lousy tripod, lowe-pro-nikon bag. Add $30 for a 2gb SD card & another $25 for a UV filter. i paid $60 extra to change the bag for a slimmer Crumpler photobag. These are the nett prices - no more GST & stuff. :thumbsup:
Best to go with cash... they charge an extra 2% for cards & nets. Happy shopping!!!

The price sure is looking good. When I bought mine from CP in June, it was $1780 for the kit and no free gifts... The difference almost enough for a 50/1.8

hai guys... i just bought my D80 kit (18-135mm) as well, not from John 3:16 but from AP funan instead... It's 1.6K inclusive of GST... got the tripod and the lowepro bag as well... so maybe for those who considering to get one, perhaps u guys can drop by there... can save 20 dollar...
