I never buy anything other than PC parts from SLS.The ground floor shops have a f&*ked up attitude.

If you wish to buy from AP, please go to the Funan branch.

Amongst camera shops Alan Photo is consider a big roller. They can get extremely busy thus accounting the service lag. If u count the number of salespersons there, they exceed what a normal shop of that size should accomodate. I normally will not go there during weekends, that place is jam pack. Even if i do, the service is generally still good. Lookout for Uncle Tom, Anthony or Andrew. They give good prices far better than most of the competition. Price discrepancies is a common issue. It happen to me at CP and MS or in most electronic stores. If u aren't comfortable with ur bad experience at SLS, try Lord's at lucky plaza. No problems with them too. I will not invest my stuff at TCW, u r basically paying for grey items at local authorised product prices.

As long as you are knowledgeable about what you wanna buy, those salemans can't bluff you. I usually do my reasearch first and hold my ground. If you think AP sucks, then go bring your business somewhere else, becos obivously, without you and all prevailing bad press, AP still is that busy.

so far, all my things are bought from CP, no complaints so far.

at one time i went there to ask about A80 price, i feel like that salesman was give me the "I-am-just-browsing-and-no-intention-of-buying" kind of attitude. So far that day onwards, i dun go that shop again and go to CP until today

wonder why i always gotten the "I-am-just-browsing-and-no-intention-of-buying" kind of attitude when i step into CP. :cry:

as u know alan photo offers all the good prices so you should understand that there isnt much time to entertain those on the phone u should get to know the salesman better so that they will serve u better.. try to understand there are way too many people at the shop most of the time .. if u want a better environment where there are not much people u shoul either go to funan or go to simlim during weekdays around 11 30 am where there is not much people
