W whoelse Senior Member Apr 14, 2004 #2 It shd be LTM (Leica Thread Mount) although both are 39mm mount size, the M39 are slr len use on pre-m42 era slr. U can mount a m39 to LTM but it will not focus correctly. If J-12 is a RF len LTM (shd be) and Bessa R uses LTM then it will work.
