Hi all,

was doing some post processing and saving in jpeg modes and see that there are 3 options namely "Baseline Standard, Baseline Optimized and Progressive". Wondering what is the difference and which mode to save in. Thanks! :blah:

Baseline standard is *koff* standard.

Baseline optimized is supposed to be the best for preserving colour. I use this mode mostly, especially for images going to print.

Progressive is for web images, which load progressively (you know, the image pops up quickly, but is very pixelated, and gradually gets clearer and clearer - a throwover from the days of dialup).

Thanks...
