jpeg file saved as tiff

Do you guys keep the RAW file after converting the file into TIFF?
Sometimes the TIFF file is 3-4 times bigger than the RAW file, kinda waste of HDD space keeping both the RAW and TIFF...
 

will always keep the raw. tiff can be replicated, once u lose the raw... lost forever.
 

keeping RAW is like saving film...a good backup...and as software improves, we might be able to process better images (maybe sharper or enlarge with less problems) from the same RAW file...

As for final file, I have found saving in compressed TIF less space consuming than PSD...
 

I keep my RAW files in CD. Some of my Jpeg files are also saven in CD. I just read about in a book I borrowed on Tiff. From now I will convert from RAW to tiff and final Jpeg.
