Today headed down to funan it mall wanting to make my purchase of d7000 from alan photo after surveying around and it had the cheapest price. However I made a check with joy's electromart and they offered me $20 cheaper. Out of my "greediness" I decided to buy from it. While playing with the body , I realized that there is no warranty card in it and they said if got problem send the body back to the shop they will send for repair. I already paid for the purchase and I left the shop not having a peace of mind. I search the web and found out that the shop and Eric don't have a good reputation. I decided to go back and demanded for the warranty and they cannot and I said I do not want the body then. Luckily they refunded me the money and I went alan photo and bought the body.

Conclusion: check for authorized nikon dealer. Check for warranty card for your new lens/camera.

Yeah. I don't feel peace of mind without the warranty. Luckily I manage to go back and get a refund back to get a set from alan photo which is a authorized nikon dealer.

You are seriously LUCKY that they actually refunded you. They could be nasty just like any other "sharks" out there since the transaction have already took place. Let it be a lesson well learnt my friend.

Yes, do homework before buying. But it is always sad to see people who know how to come in here to complain but do not know how to come in here to research.

But I have to say this my friend, I have been a regular at Joy's electromart for quite sometime none of this happen to me! But I have never been serve by guy Eric before, I always look for Alvin cause he is the person tat sold me my camera, some of their product price is slightly higher than other shop but some is cheaper, well for me is all about good service, trust n reasonable price (I can understand no shop got ALL best price)
