I will try to post more photos here to share , but i am not good at searching for rare exotic insects like you guys here . So my photos are usually that few pieces of models , post liao also 'paiseh' ..:embrass:

I am also using Sony A100 (newbie), and keen on learning how to shoot macro... will like to join the alpha shooters on one of the macro outings. Your photos are an inspiration.

Anyway , here is my basic setup .

Not so practical , because when wind blows , the DIY bounce card will cause shake to the whole camera , plus hand shake ... :sweat: The the top end of the card will be knocking on bushes or branches ...

This is the result of 1 photo taken by this setup .

Thanks for compliments , but this setup sometimes CMI la ...

1 for today . Don't have much time to clean the photo ... and realised my sensor is a bit dirty .

Wow! What spider is this? How big is it actually?
If I were to try my reversed lens method, might risk its legs touching the lens if it lifts up. :bsmilie:

Hi , rexlim , this spider are just common spider found in parks & gardens , not a big one , smaller than the size of our camera shutter press . The blue background is because its facing down below the leaf , i have to bent down to take this shot ...:sweat:

waahhh, bro SOLID shots...are you using your +10 CU filter?

Have not really used that 2 Filters yet ... Mostly by the 100mm Macro Lens .
