Don't thumb ur nose at the 17-55 IS :nono: It is actually an 'L' lens in disguise.

Reality check: If you replace all your non-L lenses with L, would your photography automagically improve as well?

I know but I just want to dispel the notion that it is a must to have L lens to obtain good pictures. L does give excellent image quality, no doubt about it. What you pay is what you get. Hope you understand what I meant.
