The 16-35L I find 16mm when taking near objects the distortion is great then 16mm taking far objects. This is a great lens to have. but for now, I will keep the min. distance away from my subjects before using the 16mm side.

Anyway, tomorrow will be going for shooting again :)

Well i love the distortion as it gives a dynamic effect. For me, i'll only shoot next week during the NDP preview.

NDP preview, you mean you got the tickets/pass to go in as photographer? If got lobang, share share :)

Welcome to the L family... :thumbsup: This f4 no IS is also a very good lens too... Light and compact, fits most bags. Unlike my f2.8, now with the 5D, my Lowepro Compact no spaces liao... :D

No lah, even if they give me free, i also won't go cos i prefer to take at my own location.

Can see is can see, but taking it is not nice. Even if u're to use a tele lens to shoot, also not nice.
 

Just got a 24-105mm after the price reduction, i love the rubber band force~ haha...

Excellent choice... Very soon you will find yourself take it out to admire without yourself knowing and you will go shooting more often then b4... :thumbsup:

Guess it was quite an effort for me(who am a student = no job) to part with $500+ for the lens after selling my Tamron 17-50mm F/2.8:bsmilie:
But again i wont expect regrets because of the known quality of L lens....
 

left L family when i sold my 70-200/4L.:cry:

but i'll be joining again in few days time.;)
