hi guys, new to the forum , just happened to come across this when I was searching for some Oly dc info.
I've got a C-3020 for over 2 years, no intention to upgrade as previous efforts were mainly on Auto; hvn't explored its true potential and don't know enuff photo skills to do that, hahaha , so i'm here to learn.

I've had a C-720 for a while now but because Olympus didn't have any more camera workshops, I've never quite learnt how to use it other than to take pictures as though it's an idiot-proof camera :dunno: i don't even know if my camera has a macro function even tho' i see the icon there!! :embrass:

a little intro?? i also collect toy cameras and polaroid cameras

Hey Guys,

Bought a new c5060 and a couple of 256Mb xD cards for Xmas. I'm enjoying the usability and versatility of the camera at the moment, as I've never had a digital camera before. Just seen that there's a firmware update already, anyone got the 'Guff' on that? :dunno: Look forward to learning more with you all,

Just got my c-750 one day ago. Immediately noticed that there are two 4-pixel clusters of hot pixels... Should I get this serviced by Olympus or return it for an exchange? I did do pixel mapping on it twice and it didn't help. I also ran the pixel detector mentioned in the other thread, and it gave me eight pixels... Is this at all normal???

since u have 2 x 4 = 8 'bright spots' (i think that's what they are known as, correct me if i'm wrong), u can send it back to olympus for exchange. i have 1 bright spot on my c-750. the olympus centre said that up to 4 bright spots is considered normal.

OK, thanks a lot. You think it's worth the $$$ in postage to send it back? It's not so bad with normal shots. But I do want to use the tripod a lot. But I already took a good zoom picture, I will post the link later.

It seems like there are a lot of Singapore people here. Is this a Singapore forum?? I am from Chicago.
