I'm new and count me in. I own a C-3030Z thinking of upgrading to C-5050Z anyone can comment on this new cam. Is this camera has almost invisible shuttlelag and how can we get rid of the problem of the chromatic abbrieviation problem? Thanks.

Hi david, there're 5 C-5050z owners here...why not you PM them directly, I'm sure they'll be glad to help you.

For the CA problem, some mentioned that it can be minimized using a small aperture.

Oophs, don't know whether you count me in or not? Bought a Olympus C-5050Z just earlier this month. Owned a Canon G2 too.

How I use my Oly C-5050Z? Coupled with 2 sets of Nikon SB-28 on SU-4 for slave flash. Or mount a Nikon SB-26 (switched to slave mode) directly to the hot-shoe, and use 2 reflection borads. Mostly used it for marco shots, because the flash light is been obstructed by the lens adaptor. If done correctly, you will be amazed at the pictures it can produce. For marco shots, I set <sharpness -5>, <contract -0> and <saturation +5>. Be prepared to be blown off by the richness of the colorS!
