They are only good coz alot of ppl are promoting them in forum.

Hmm.. :what: Not too sure what to make out of this statement. If the shop didn't do something right, I wonder why alot of people are promoting them in forum

Prices generally aren't the best but they are definitely not the type to chop you.

Wow if a shop allows the customer to test 5 lenses of the same model, that is good service. If such a small shop has 5 units pf the same model in stock, it shows they believe in the model. If a shop allowed customer to test lenses so freely, it is no surprise that box covers do get torn. I don't feel that it is fair to say they are seling rejects nor are they treating any customers as naive. Perhaps the LCD screen of the camera is not as clean as it should be when the photos were taken?

Their main selling point is that they are very "friendly" and willing to spend time on customers, this is hardly found in most other camera shops.

In the other shops, unless you are a regular customer, you can expect short answers

years ago i bought canon camera and lenses from them and no problem with warranty registration, they are friendly and let you test other items as well, the only thing is the price is on the high side

I bought my 7D from them one year plus ago, at that time they are the cheapest for that model (I asked quote from Cathay Photo, SLRR, TKfoto and MScolor)... and recently (not that recent actually) I bought my OM-D + Pany 25mm f1.4 from them too (because they are the only shop at that time who are willing to sell OM-D body only).

Anyway, they provide excellent service and I kind of like walking into the shop and just chat with the people there, so far no one show me any attitude even when I didn't buy any stuff. However they seemed pretty unwilling to sell my lady friend the 60D + Tamron 17-50mm and they kind of quote me a dodgy price of 9xx for the 17-50 VC... while trying to sell my lady friend the Canon 17-55mm which was way beyond her budget, later my lady friend bought her 60D and tamron 17-50mm VC at an incredible price from Cathay Photo.

Oh... well... I would say that John3:16 is a friendly shop but no need to believe in everything they says... (plus they are kind of an anti Sony shop, which I don't know why).

I'm thinking it should be the profit margin from Sony is not as big as the other brands.
