Hi all, this is my first ever post on clubsnap and I've decided to challenge myself to commit to Project APAW as a goal for 2010.

Here's Week 1: Ripples dive

On first glance, the picture looks rather abstract but if you look closely, it is actually a black swan head diving into the pond looking for food.

Week 2: Harmless thorns

This fruit (or plant) reminded me of durians. I like the light green against the darker greens contrast and of course, the effects of macro shots.

Week 3 : Yoked

So I was baking this weekend, and wanted to try dabbling in food photography which is my achilles heel. I chose this picture out of the many shots because I love the color contrasts between the 3 yellow yolks from the white bowl.​

Week 5: Imploring

I was surfing on my macbook, and when I look up to see where the dog is, I saw him sitting beside the pink stool. It was such a cute scene that I could not resist the urge to grab my camera. So there he is, sitting on the stool with imploring eyes, wanting to come down. ​

Week 6: Sunset in Bali

Yesterday I was walking on the streets in Bali, today I am walking on the streets of Singapore.
Bali seems so surreal and far away. Oh I love Bali!

Week 7: Bali Romance

I called it Bali romance because when you are in Bali, you cant help but fall in love with the island, the Balineses, the culture and the company with you.

Week 8: Tsunami Watch

The earthquake in Chile is causing a quarter of the earth to be on Tsunami alert for countries from Russia to Japan.
This picture is so apt to describe the current world news.

Week 9: Innocence

I was quite surprised his father asked him to smile at the camera (me). CUTE.

Week 10: Mud Fun

He had a whale of his time playing in the mud.
When I 'found' him, a group of local girls, mostly teens, were surrounding him and teasing him.
That didnt bother him at all.

He was having too much fun.

Week 11: Cone of Shame

My poor boy had his sterilization surgery done yesterday, and now he has to wear the 'cone of shame' to prevent him from licking his wounds
