Jerkiness during playback

Hi to all the expert gurus, Pls Help!
I've have this problem is that i'm capturing HD using DV tape on my FX1E
I couldn't even playback on my cam smoothly the whole entire recording seem to be very jerky
and drop frame type.
Is there any place that i can find help to recover or retrieve the tape?

Sounds like a dirty head. Try cleaning it with a DM12CLD tape first. Hopefully, only the playback head is dirty. If the recording was dirty, there's really nothing anyone can do as the good data is just not there.

Problem is when come to slow motion or fast forward playback on cam is still watchable. The only problem is normal speed it causes the jerk & drop frame.

was it shot on 25p? if so u need a 25p deck to capture

I have try using all Frame rate in Final cut Studio but still no avail.
