Thanks. Make do with what I already have, the flashes, arms and clamps from my underwater setup, instead of spend $$ for ring flash.

David has MT-24, his patented twin flash.

Once again many thanks to Jacobs for organizing this macro outing at AMK Park. Nice to catch up with previous buddies Yilin and Koh and good to meet many more new buddies. Below are my catch for the day. Still a long, long way to go as compared to those awesome shots of Jacobs and Koh. Will keep trying hard at it to steady my shaky hands.

The youngest I've seen in CS now has to be cute little Manita.

Hi Adrian, we met many times before only when I'm unwell. Didn't know you are in macro photography. I think your shots are pretty good. May be can consider using a diffuser like Jacob's as to minimise the burnt area. Great potential in macro photography. :thumbsup:

Ya, I am still new to macro, so came quite unprepared. Trying out different things, to see what works and what doesn't. Yes, we now have more to chat. LOL. The patients outside will all say, why that patient take so long! Nvm, great to hear from you. Thanks for you tip!

HI Lew, thanks for your kind words. Am just slowly exposing Isaac to Photography. In fact, I took him out yesterday to the macro shoot, as a form of breather. Poor chap has been mugging hard for his exams, 1 more Science paper to go on Monday. Yesterday, his mum taught him how to do post processing. So slowly lah, hope he enjoys it and wants to shoot more.

Picking up new things from you and seniors @ every outings has help me to learn faster

The lady bugs only 1 or 2 spotted ...and were very shy and timid. You did not miss much lah..no matting scene .

Your pictures had improved a lot..:thumbsup: It's time to to insert the Red L to your lens..:devil:
