Thanks. This was taken near sunset time, near 7pm i think - tokyo time. I was seating along aile 26.

Haha and i thought it was the GREEN that was overdone. I usually desat the greens. I left the other colors alone. Maybe its the CPL.

It is relatively easy to get around in Sapporo, even if you dont speak the language. Get the whole day train and bus pass, its 1000yen(about 15 SGD) for a day pass. You can take unlimited subways, electric trams and public buses.

Taxis have a flag down rate of 550 yen and should be your last resort - if you get lost.

Most places are accessible by subway. Get a copy of the Sapporo town map. It has the list of subways and where to stop for the places of interest.

There are day tours that operate daily from the city center's bus terminal that bring you some of the tourist's attractions for about 800yen. But once again there really isnt anywhere you cant go by train/bus.

Stay tuned for upcoming pictures on places worth photographing..

Haha it IS summer you know. But sapporo is a great ski park in winter.. and the onsen (hot springs) are great.

Hi

Thank so much for the travel info, it will be very helpful.

Pretty cloudy these few days in Hokkaido, and was raining on my day at Hakodate. Cannot enjoy the famous night view.

Otaru has a very beautiful night view as well with plenty of fireworks during my stay ( gotta go up the Tenguyama moutain. )

Hope I got more visibility at Moiwa when I get there !

Oh.. what a pity.. Lol i look forward to seeing your shots mate! I've not been up Tenguyama Mountain.

Day Three - Afternoon

Here are some from the same day at the Court of Appeals:

The court of appeals is located at Odori Park - a 5-min. walk from Nishi juitchome Subway Sta. (Tozai Line). Admission is free. Unforuntately you cant enter the court of appeals :(

There are lots of flowers in the park so do bring your macro lens along if you have one. Sunset timings occur at around 7 onward during the summer peroid.

Thanks. You mean for the first one? Yeah its a bit tilted huh.. Haha. I should go correct it..

Anyway thanks all for visiting this thread. These are my best selections i have for Hokkaido.

Please stay tuned for the next series as i move from Hokkaido to Osaka :)

View from Moiwa is indeed breathtaking, the sunset and everything

I know where you took your pan. ( 90% of the people flock to this side, the rest of the 10% is because this view got no space left :bsmilie: )

Actually the view facing the right of where you took is lovely as well, with the outline of the coasts, but unfortunately blocked halfway by some really tall trees from the level of the cable station stop before the bus ride up to the peak.

Do share with us more of ur shots.

Will be hopping over Osaka tmr
