hope they release a kit lens and a fast 20mm prime with their first m4/3 body.

I bet the LV one would be pretty popular with the ladies.

The LV one is nice.. only if they really have it. Can't wait for the camera to be out.. then can "convince" my wife to change the P&S camera.. hehe..

From the olympus website to mark Olympus' 90th anniversary and also the PEN series. Guess the design cue of the m4/3s camera will draw alot from the PEN series, especially the PEN F and PEN FT.

I really like the Pen EE 1961 model... the earth tones makes the camera looks really really nice... if the m43 body comes out like that... wow... It is something to die for... ;)

lenses!! we need m43 lenses!! ;)

I watch carefully the video for pen above, the hand that draw and the hand that turn pages has different nail colour?

I found something from dpreview!

According to sketches..

This might be real...

:)

Good nose, good nose...

Good nose, good nose...

Haha! I see Video, Art Filters, No OVF/EVF, sort of a grip, and PANCAKE. :bsmilie:

The buttons look a bit cheap to me.. Haha. Maybe a black would be nicer. ;p

I like the idea of the recessed mode dial for such a small camera. Great way to reduce profile.

it looks lovely!

anyway the rumoured pricing of 999usd seems pretty high for body+kitlens...i was expecting it to be the price of the E4x0 of ard 699USD?

Since they probably saved costs by simplifying the inards with the removal of the prism and mirror box. Hope the rumoured pricing is not true :dunno:

Look at one function on the camera, and even if it is US$1199 it is still cheap...

>>>The video function...<<<

You know how much does the other m43 body with video function cost? Referring to the Panasonic GH-1. I hope Olympus did not scrimp on the video function and is as good as the GH-1 or hopefully better (taking into consideration video functions is the strongest strength of Panasonic).

Just to make a fair comparison, my friend. ;)

WOOHOO!!!ART FILTERS!!!!!NO NEED TO THINK ABOUT E-30,E-620 AND E-450 ALREADY!!!!But then again...this is just a rumor...oh well.... guess just gotta wait

I'm still hoping for in-body IS. haha. That would really turn on the PNS crowd, and it's something that I've found invaluable ever since I was spoiled by the Lumix LZ3. Looks like this one will be the relatively no frills model, tho. I don't see any wheels, so it will likely be a button mashing machine =p (not that I'd mind, seriously)

I think it is real. U can see the plastic cover on the LCD screen still. The top profile looks OK, although I like the recessed dial. Avoids unwanted change of mode while in the bag. What I like so far :

1. f 2.8
2. Video!!!
3. Art filters
4. Exp compensation
5. M / A / S modes
6. Better strap holders
7. SSWF
