Same poll, just for fun :sticktong

ps: Jus click the poll since someone suggested it, no need post reply. Simple survey to see how the world has change. So dunno another "this is better, mine is good" thingy.

Film shooting will be like black and white shooting..it will became a legend in photography world as its technology has been stablize for dongkey decades.....digital technology is a revolution in photo world that is just evolve. it only gives convenience and reduce cost in term of long term processing.

though Digital shooting in place now...but i believe film shooting will have its portion in the market. film is made by silver oxide coating....in term of density definate it is high and can produce good photo. like black and white...till now still many reportor hot about it.

I have an F90 in cold storage for more than 5 years since my honeymoon. personal favourite is Fuji Velvia 100 for the rich and vibrant colours it lends to scenery. Now with baby not very convenient to lug all the lenses around, so got a panasonic FZ10.
I do agree that in terms of picture quality, digital is still a little behind film especially when processing to prints. There's alot of light variations that the computer still gets confused like pictures of shiny silk.
But in terms of successful pictures obtained at the end of the day, I guess digital takes the cake because of the virtually limitless number of shots one can take.
BTW how do I vote? tried clicking on the bar charts above but no effect.

I still don't get it.. I have spend hours and hours trying to figure out where to put my films into my wife's DSLR.. I don't get it!

FILMS TILL THE DAY THERE IS NO MORE!!!!!!! :o

I was trying to put my 4x5 Tri-X into the 1Ds Mark II. Damn difficult!

Meanwhile, largeformat films are increasing in sales!

Heck, even Ilford are going to make glass plates again! Wow!

Marios, don't worry. If you go before me, I will make sure you have a carton of Delta 3200 in your coffin!

student, what is the most affordable 4x5 camera now? I have a hard time viewing my 35mm slides through a lupe and it is failing my eyesight :what:

Anything but that one!!!!!!!!!! T-Max pls

About fitting the 4x5 into 1Ds MII I think it is different from 1Ds MI.. you need to remove the.. battery pack or something. Actually it is quite easy as long as someone shows you. :)

Also, my wife adviced me that the D60 cannot take the rolls that I am using.. but I doubt that the 1Ds MII will act as a washing machine with the plates that you are trying to feed it.. I think you are pushing the technology (you should patten it actually) but with this new digital stuff that do it all everything is possible..

I will remember that! But the emulsions come in such a wide choices that I will need some clarification.

100 or 400? 35 mm, 120, or largeformat? ;)

Hmm... think the problem here is the size. D60 have a crop factor of 1.5 right, so it's obvious that 135 film are too big! You have to use those 16mm or even 8mm film!
