wah! how come so many FZ20 users switched to the D70? may I know why har?

why not to 300D/350D but D70? interface and feel of D70 similar to FZ20? or what? :dunno:

interesting.... hmmmmm...

Upgrading from the Fluzi to a DSLR wd be expected.
But why not Minolta 7D?
It has AS sensor in the body like the Fluzis which Pana users have gotten used to.
Do many Fluzi owners feel they can dispense with the OIS?

Haha. After the Ubin shootout with so many D70s, GT 'cheong' immediately once touch down on Singapore soil. That's the darkside effect. May the force be with US...... 4 more hours to go! :bsmilie:

Well, the fact is, I was finding excuses not to buy when I was at the IT show, however, the excuse that I tried to find excused itself.

I thought maybe I could call my friend, arrange some other day, go to his shop, check check here and there, then maybe escape from the effect. So, I took out my HP, got his phone number, called, suddenly, I realized that he was just beside me....no more excuses liao lor....so? buy lar....knn....blow out my budget big time now man!

Look at the price and you will konw why...

I tried Minolta 7D in IT show, very cool, but I dun even want to think about buying it...if you do not have S$2.5K and above, dun even think about getting the body oni....that's one of the reasons ;)

I'll be getting that flash. But bro, this is Pana forum. We shall keep the discussion of N product on our own. Dun wish to OT the topic to another products. :bsmilie: We'll be banned by Keith if he saw these :sticktong

Was at the HN Panasonic booth yesterday around 5pm and heard the deejay
calling "Panasonic FZ3 last set" & after a while, "Panasonic FZ3 sold out!!"
But don't know how many sets were brought in for the show by HN....

I did and not only at the camera but the lense and those of Nikon and Canon as well. That is why I think it is more logical to upgrade to 7D rather than 350D or D70.

You will need a lot, lot more than that even for the 350D if you want F2.8 throughout 35-432mm range, ED glass and IS. F2.8 lenses, even those zoom without IS, are very, very expensive.

That is why I was asking if those who upgraded find they can dispense with the "Mega OIS". Or perhaps they don't need apertures as large as F2.8. Or they are willing to sacrifice these for higher ISO and less noise, less CA, zoom ring, more MP, better focusing, or whatever. I got an SLR when I needed a WA range less than 24 mm but it seems now I am talking myself into getting a DSLR too. Especially so after I have been let down by the FZ10 autofocus which indicated focused when it was obviously not (as well as when it was not too obvious) recently at the Raptor Watch Shoot. Panasonic better come up with a solution real soon or my Fluzi might end up being put on the 2h market. Btw, has this happened to anyone else? :(

A friend wants to sell me his mint condition 2 month old FZ3 for $640.

It comes with standard package with additional panasonic case, 1GB sandisk SD card, UV filter, +4 closeup filter and PL filter (all are Hoya 55mm).

Do you guys think it is worth buying? :dunno:

You say after 1 day the virus come back again..... So did you try changing the Anti-Virus software, firewall software or even the updating the software? I have been using Norton all my life until recently, when I changed to the Symantec Anti-Virus and Sygate for better resource management, no way did I get a virus on my computer even when almost 24 hours of the day my computer is on for the last 6 years.

Tell us the virus name (it should have from the scans) and you can PM me your contact I talk to you lor.

Christopher
Could it be because you have downloaded some virus email that you had kept after you have formated the PC?

just bought a fZ20 and i thought i observed a similar situation with the spot focus mode. camera indicated auto-focus succeeded, but after downloading the pic i noticed that it had focussed elsewhere. anybody else...?

I'm guessing you face this problem due to the small EVF. I have taken indoor shots where the focus was elsewhere, but because its so dark, cannot tell its not in focus. Pray real hard that Pana comes up with some sort of solution this this dark EVF that does not gain up automatically in dark areas.
