i am looking for good deal in buying panasonic lumix fx 33 or fx 55. anyone know if i can find cheaper price in this IT show? anyone have any good lobang on getting these camera at good price?:dunno: does u all know any shops that is giving good price?

You may call the usual shops like cathay, ms color and alan photo for quotes and compare.

someone over in the Nikon forum said overheard a saleslady quoting it as S$1400...

I was there and asked for the price. Quoted $1400... confirmed. I did ask for the lens alone, and was quoted the price above.

BTW... It is the kit lens on one of the 2 D80 packages. This one c/w 2 x 2GB SD, Lowepro Bag, Lowerpro Laptop bag, Tripod, Card reader. Kit going for $2588. The other one comes with same gifts, but 2 lenses... 18-70 mm and 70-300 lens. This kit goes for $1888

They got a display of lenses that are quite reasonable. DP1 is out of stock yesterday. Not sure whether they bringing in more sets or not. U have to go down to check out the lenses prices.

I think i might be the one who quoted 1400. since there are only two ladies at the slr counter. :x Yea, actually harvey norman is selling the lens for $1410, but then it isn't worth to get just the lens at show, it is always more value for money for the whole package.

Sigma dun really have gd offer. All the stuff selling at RRP. No point going there to buy lens when you can get cheaper somewhere else.

If you consider that the AFS18-200VR is $1400, the D80 body is only $1188 with all the other freebies, which is quite a gd deal!

hmm, they will be having lens like 18-200 VR as well as 70-300. but then, if you wanna buy these lens, it will be a better deal if you want to get it in a bundle. if you want lens alone, i don't suggest getting at the show. body alone, most likely only the the d300 will be going for body alone. the rest of the models are all with kit lens.

and i'm glad to say, if you're paying by credit card, be it instalement or what, any sum above 500 will not have any surcharge, most cards are accepted except for AMRO. can go for a range within 6 months to 24 months i hope my information helps!

I want to buy the sandisk sd card and would like to know the price for 4GB Ultra II, 2GB and 4GB Extreme III, or perhaps the 4GB Extreme III ducati version.
