It is cheaper to buy from B&H than Amazon

In my own experience for the sort of equipment I've bought, I've found the two retailers' list prices similar give or take the occasional dollar. I've ordered primarily from BH though because their shipping for me has always been consistently cheaper by several USD.

E.g. a recent lens I shipped to Singapore cost USD 42.30 from BH with UPS Saver. Adorama asked for USD 47.30 with UPS Worldwide Express. I can wait an extra day, if there was even improvements in delivery time.

Amazon I think can order stuffs from Adorama. I've researched on the stuffs I want before and seems like adorama is cheaper than BH, so compare the 2 prices.

I have ordered stuff from Amazon.com, Adorama through Amazon Marketplace, Adrorama direct, Ace Digital through Amazon Marketplace and Beach Camera through Amazon Marketplace.

It is not true tat B&H is cheaper than Amazon all the time. Sometimes it is cheaper at Adorama, Beach Camera, Ace Digital, etc... The US is very very competitive. Online retailers price according to their strategy, so depending on the item, the cheapest source varies all the time. I will just buy from the cheapest source.

I did not have a problem with Adorama's credit verification. Maybe it's because I ordered from them through Amazon Marketplace before. So, they have my records... and they know I am a good customer. :bsmilie:
