I'm a realist and one who rejects bs.
People don't realise that a digital hygrometer showing 2 dec places doesn't mean it's accurate to 2 dec places.
They should not be misled into thinking so.
Having more significant digits means nothing if two digital hygrometers vary by more than 10%.
When will people get the idea that more digits in a digital display does not mean more accuracy, unless you're willing to pay a lot for a well-calibrated instrument?
How many people understand that it's the sensor which drives accuracy to begin with, not the digital conversion.
When will people see that the notion "if it's digital, it must be more accurate than analog" is not always the case. This is a misconceptio, no different from thinking that if a person is from middle east, he must be anti-western. True in some cases, but still an unjustified sweeping statement.
