Is there something wrong with my m6?

had my m6 ttl for some months - it never occured to me because i did not pay attention.

today i was loading up film.. advanced it as usual - the rewind crank knob was turning as i advanced (therefore i can confirm film was loaded correctly). but first time, i notice the rewind crank knob could turn LHS if i turn it...

is this normal or did something break?

Could it be that the film is not wounded tightly so that the crank knob can still be turned 'LHS'?

checked - used a film to test - film loaded up correctly.. knob turns as i advanced. but rewind crank can still turn LHS...

looks like i've discovered the answer... and if i understood correctly, i think i got what gosu means.. its the film which is "loose" in the canister..

i am so glad nothing is broken...

this can be proved with any other camera that has a rewind crank.
the film inside is not tightly wound and that may the way it should be, a it is shipped and stored for so long before you bought it.
