Is Tamron's warrenty transferrable? and will tamron charge for cleaning of lens?

Hi , I want to ask as regard to the question in the post title.

i) Is tamron's warranty transferable? (2nd hand)

ii) Will tamron charge for cleaning services during the warrenty period?

Warranty is definitely transferable. I asked them that question myself when i was enquiring about the 5 year warranty. You just need the proof of purchase and warranty card. Obviously the warranty card will have the original purchaser's details but that's normal.

As for cleaning during warranty I didn't ask.

Cleaning has never been covered. Warranty is for taking care of "manufacturing defects" only.

warranty only cover manufacture defects, for cleaning dust,fungus not cover under warranty

Got myself this lens 2 weeks ago for canon..
