But for Kansai Airport artificially man-made island, conceived and construction started when Japan was the world's richest country.
Settlement is a constant worry when it has to battle against the forces of nature.
Worse still, is unequal settlement of different parts of the island.
With its current economy, Japan would not attempt such engineering project today.

Why there is sink holes on the road?? Just look at the increasing COE and you shall know. LOL the road jus simply cannot withstand the heavy load
