Hi to all,
Need your help on film photography in Singapore.
Currently, I am shooting with Nikon D810 system and thinking of dipping my toes into medium format film photography.
I would like to know the following...
1. How much does 120, 400 iso film costs, colour & B/W? Cheapest available at moment? If available in bulk, even better.
2. How much to wash one roll of 120 film? Any good & cheap lab to recommend? Any bulk wash discount? For colour & B/W.
I'm planning to shoot 6x7 format. Therefore 10 shots per 120 roll.
3. If want to carry out DIY film washing, is the C-41 chemicals & equipment readily available in Singapore?
How much it costs if available? How many rolls can one C-41 kit wash?
I just came across the RZ67 pro iiD film camera and loved it.
In theory, if I can manage the cost of film photography close to about $1/film :dunno:, I would jump in immediately...
(cost of film + cost of washing) divided by the number of shots taken.
example: ($8 + $8) divided by 10 shots for 6x7 format on 120 film = $1.60 per photo.
Thank you very much for your time.
