Is it wrong to ask to view a photographer's portfolio?

Of course he has.

Why would someone be running scared like that if his conscience is clear?

(anyway I find it hilarious that he himself have said that many models don't want TFCD from him when they see his port - indicative eh?)

Hey there peeps.

I have this really troubling time with one of the photographers in clubsnap so I thought it will be good if I can seek advise from all of you.

Generally, he wrote to me that he saw my post on CS and wonder if im interested in a photoshoot..stating also that he has won many trophy and such for his photography skills.

After that I replied and asked if I may view his portfolio and was frank enough to say that I am actually more interested in having a paid shoot. BUT, the thing was he came back with this really wierd ans:

Was it wrong for me to have asked for his portfolio?
I meant, i was just trying to check out his portfolio and such... soooo, what went wrong here? :dunno:

I don't know how it is done in Singapore.

In my village when we want to do a TFCD with a girl, we take our hats off, smile sweetly and give her a bow.

If the girl acquiesce to our approach she'll drop her handkerchief.

Then both of us will stroll, the man walking 4 feet behind the girl to the agreed location for TFCD photo shoot.

No email, PM or portfolio one. So Mah Fun.

The model is not obliged to take on the assignment after viewing the photographer's previous works.

Both parties should agree mutually on a photo shoot.

Does the photographer think otherwise?

There is a lesson to be learnt from this episode. It would be safer, more logical and sensible, and less complicate to join shoots than to look for TFCD.

doesnt matter now. I have to hold my words and close the thread. Figuring how though. I shall close it then.
Anyway EOW has already say that if both parties are willing to forgive and forget. then put this matter to rest. I will see what he has to say bahs. Until now only EOW's been very nice to represent him on this thread. I shall take everything offline. Should he still be so rude, ill approach CS moderators for help.
