Is it possible to seperate the forum to two major part?-dslr part and compact part

hi,i wonder can the forum change to this 2 main section instead of seperate using brand? coz personally i think this organization will be better.

or ma be just open a new section for all compact camera user.Coz i think there is quite alot of compact user over the forum.

Write in to the admin and make a suggestion.

I've seen other forums do something that and it seems to work very well and keeps things tidy, but you do relalise that not just one more section is required, but a compact and P&S sub-section would be required for every brand?

Totally disagree. Compact cameras still have a brand, and thus fall under the existing categories.

yea,thats very true but i just wish that there is a section which dedicated to compact camera when i want do some research on compact.it make my life easierand others too

No, because all newbies would still post under the "newbies" section, "general" or the brand ones. Then we'll have constant "post in wrong section" problems.

ClubSnap is, first and foremost, a photography forum. For your personal purposes, what you are seeking is a photographic-equipment review forum, of which there are already many out there, e.g. DP Review, letsgodigital, etc.

But of course you may post on the relevant equipment sub-forums requesting for user feedback on whatever cameras you may be interested in.
