anyone knows abt this?

Different cameras using different sensors have different response to IR and therefore will give different IR false colour palettes ;)

oooo like that means not my settings got prob :D:D thanks ah

Noticed that you have a Fuji camera too...
You can try using that... longer exposure... BUT note that CWB with fuji will always be slightly off...

i prefer the output of the fuji cam but then the hotspot is always there

It's your you :)

Forget about IR. Think of normal light. If you set WB for early morning and shoot at noon .. the color never comes out "right".

Even WB set 10 seconds ago may be unreliable. WB when the cloud fully covers the sun is very different from full sun, right?

This same "unreliable" extends to IR as well. No matter what WB you set, you may never get what you want.

One second ago, light may contain (IR 55% IR + R 15%) + G 15% + B 15%.

Then, the very second you press the shutter, , the ratio drop to (IR 10% IR + R 30%) + G 30% + B 30%.

You can see only the RGB component, which is 1:1:1 in both situation. But your IR camera see NOT the same. Its WHITE is computed from R 70:G15:B15 and then applies this setting to image which R 40:G30:B30.

BTW, throw away this technical explaination. Shooting in IR is almost unpredicatable, with lots of fun
