Would like to know how come the pictures turn out so grainy
Heres my setting:
Camera: Nikon D90
18mm
ISO200
F22
Shutter 20s
Standing on Tripod.
Remotely triggered
f22 is a no-no in night photography, but is more useful in daylight landscape...
in your case, it basically dims out almost most of the lights...
use the lowest iso for night photography.
if you mean noise...then i give u my half-past six knowledge on noise:
1) try to avoid using such a long exposure time. this is due to sensor heat up. not sure how well d90 handles this.
2) noise often happen in shadow details. read up on SNR (signal-noise-ratio).
3) noise occur on large areas with similar tones, such as the sky for this one...
