is getting Fujifilm Instax films in Singapore cheaper than in Japan?

I'm thinking of whether to get my films in Singapore before heading to Japan. after all, Fujifilm is made in Japan so any chance that films there will be cheaper? appreciate all your inputs!

unless u buy from those roadside store, no way it is cheaper in japan

been 2 japan for holiday few weeks ago and i notice 1 thing, 1st is some items are more expensive while some are cheaper in japan

etc Canon 7D body is selling at $1800 at the camera shop i frequent in japan while a 2nd Hand Nikon 50mm f1.8D lens is selling at $250

2nd thing, at the land of rising sun, bargaining for items is quite hard as prices are fix, if they say $3000, it will be $3000, no less even if you buy 5 set of DSLR from them

as for fujifilm, it will be expensive as it is quite popular for japan, as for major brands like Canon.... well....... =.=!!

was in japan last week.

for the cutesy instax polaroid film (the ones with winnie the poo, mickay mouse or harlow kitty), it was selling at SGD$14.80 in sgp. i got it in Tokyo about SGD 12.

So the difference isn;t by much, but it's cheaper in japan
