I bought the same dry cabinet from Carrefour. However, I only managed to see 70%RH on the display even though I switch the power to maximum.. Is there something wrong with the drying unit or the display?

You need to leave the unit turn on without opening the door in you in your initial use... thereafter, everything you open the door, the %RH changed...

i just bought this DigiCabi Dry Cabinet from carrefour. Hydometer remain showed between 70% to 80% regardless the humidiry control turn to left or right .

Q1)
i'm not quite sure on how to dial the humidity control (T.E Cooling System) either set to LOW (turn right) or HIGH (turn left) in order to keep my hydometer at level 45%-55%. Am I suppose to turn to max right or left ??
(According to Manual: The humidity becomes lower as the dial is turned to the right, and becomes higher when turned to the left.)

Q2)
Can I've aslo put in all the rechargeable Li-on, AA batteries, flashes, TC len, CF cards. ANy damage to them if humidity level kept at 45%-55% ??

Can i also put in the softcases (for DC & TC lens)? izit alrite to put in leather case, camera bag into dry cabinet. ?? ANy damage to them if humidity level kept at 45%-55% ??

Spent a lot of money wasted on Carrefour dry box and also MS Color type. Break down after few months only and went NS did not know problem. So came out of camp all lenses fungused. Cost a bomb to clean at Camera Workshop. Damn lousy stuff made in China (not Taiwan - bull **** by salesman).

Now using electronic type dry box from CK Tang and never fail. Very reliable. 5 years warranty! I think will last longer than my cameras lol. Already 2 years still perfect.

My 2 cents worth ok.

Agree. Got mine from CK Tang on discount but still very exp 300+? but well worth it as all my kit is very good condition.
