thinking of buying the scan disk memory card ,the price seem to be cheaper from those at funan. Any different in quality or warrantly (local or not) ?

Must be careful at simlim. They may sell fake cards :O. The card may have less actual memory thn it reports to the device. I believe thrs a thread in consumers corner that teaches you how to tell the difference between imitation cards and real cards? If not u can always google it :D

I don't know. Is it reputable? Shops in sim lim have been know to be unscrupulous at times. Perhaps we should wait for the opinions of more senior CSers :D

Just curious but what will warranty from Sandisk cover?

Best Bargain memory cards are original, just that they are parallel imported. Aka no warranty from the local distro. If there's anything wrong, you bring back to best bargain.

There's only 3 shops i'll buy my memory cards from : Laser, Bizgram and Best Bargain.

Best bargain cheapest but sometimes no stock.

i believe sandisk will cover 1-1 exchange? not sure. never sent mine for RMA before

Haf been buying frm BB for as long as i can remember. Best price!

Nvr had any issue. Highly recommended.

I have bought a few times from Best Bargain and yes, they sell original Sandisk but you might not always get what you want as the stock sell off really fast. The price is cheaper compared to other shops by around 20%. People who buy from them often buy in quantity of more than 1.

Yup. I have bought stuff from there too. So far so good.

I got mine there also, so far so good

Hi I bought at Bizgram 16Gb class10 card two days back for $s48. Local warranty(victor magnetics). Same card sell at Best bargain for $s37

will scan disk warrantly cover card that don't read or write?

no they wont. you can't find the company on earth.

The rest who bought original SANdisk will get their warranties.

I also visit Best Bargain often to get memories. (RAM / cards etc)
Though for SD cards, I tend to go with Transcend Class 10 32GB. Costs $52.90 at HouseofMouse. (I'm not associated with them. Just letting everyone know of a good bargain)

I've bought Sandisk CF and SD Cards from Best Bargain too. In use in all cases for > 2 years now; no faults encountered (so far).

this has noting to do with Nikon,
"where to buy and how much" belongs to Consumers Corner.

thread moved.

Best bargain staffs also won't pester u to buy unnecessary items, and all prices are transparent and printed. So you do not need to worry about being cheated.

Only shop I buy memory card too :)
