The "blurness" of this pic does not look natural, was it PPed? Normally if the blurness is caused by shallow DOF, the plane in focus should be parallel to the camera's film/sensor plane. In this pic I noticed that the old lady's shoulder is in focus while her back is not, and her back is in the same focal plane with her head.![]()

Oh btw, you can also employ selective coloring to isolate your subject. It is a lot easier than trying to create the artificial DOF.
