[IR] Portand Head Light, Maine w/D300s full spectrum

I used a Fuji IR-84 TAC filter on the rear of my Nikkor 15/5.6 (clip installed, see below)... The Fuji IR-84 filter has a sharp cut to 90% at 900nm so it is probably more like a 900nm filter than an RG-850.. also, the live view is everything i could have hoped for providing a realtime means of focus shift correction by eye for the first time (used to be quite an iterative process).

and with a hoodman loupe the cam looks quite interesting.. and generated much interest from onlookers.

with lens clip modification (this version came with built-in filters so this clip had to be added)

i wasn't quite right about the FUJI TAC filter.. the IR-84 passes 900nm around 78%.. i would like to find a US (or otherwise) source for these filters... i can't understand why they are not advertised in the US when the packaging is in english.

 WOW... impressive collections of IR-gears and lenses you have got!

and razor sharp IR shots :thumbsup:

i like the shot with RG-665.

btw, is your UG-1 more of a UV filter?

yes.. the UG-1 passes UV, but has a substantial IR leakage which i exploit for these shots.. i doubt if much UV makes it through that lens.
