Haha... Ah Chua, many many kam sia to you.
Honestly I am trying very hard to follow in your foot steps in creating more depth.
In fact, if you noticed SereneXMM's latest few shots, all these have got more depth in them.
We were both looking at your shots and our own shots, and discussing and talking about achieving the effect.

Wow nice shot, first time surfing IR photo thread..
Nice !
Hello, yilin.
Thank you for your compliments.
And welcome to IR subforum ~ where the real becomes unreal, and the unreal in turn becomes surreal.
It's a land for naughty guys and gals who spend all their time and energy tweaking colours! :bsmilie:

Thanks! The tonal range holds largely cuz its bracketed, so grain is kept low too...
I am a little more inclined myself towards b&w ir, garish colours are not really my thing...
here's another, this one in ir, i just like the mood of this shot. if it had a title it would be...
the lost umbrella.

that bottle tree is gorgeous. is it very large? i see that all of you seem to be using fisheye to approach it.

i would go, but i am scared of all of limwhow's record shots... i am shy person ;)

Haha... Ok lah.
Promise will not post any record shots of famous personality.

... Unless you absolutely would like me to post some shots.
Or in respecting the privacy of famous personality, we may just mask the identity while within the group shot.
Sincerely.

here is mine, the signature tree of the place we were at..

i'm not sure if the flare is alright for everyone but i think it was okay here. :)

 love this the moment i see it

And I agree with nleong - today we really TCSS more than we shoot.
But luckily still got some photos to submit homework - otherwise the IR subforum moderators will need to spank our backside already... Haha..

Everybody shot Bottle Tree.
I also have to shoot Bottle Tree as a record shot.
Here's my humble share.

Not a single bit alienated, garth6!
Your presence lent it a sense of reality, in this 'painting'-rendered version.
In fact, had it not been for your standing at the end of the bridge, the leading line would have led to NOTHING!
Thank you for being there!
