hi.. i hope theres someone able to help me with this...

i currently want to connect my ipod video to my car audio system.. but all this while i been using the FM transmitter which produce limited sound quality... so i went to a shop which sell those car audio system... the guy told me he got a cable which connect to my car audio system and to my ipod... so i ask him how much.. he told me SG$120... i was like WTF.. a cable cost $120....

so is there anyone know where can i go to buy that cable? or any lobang... thanks everyone... :)

what headunit are you using? I suspect he is selling you the iPod controller cable. If your HU supports this function, it allows you to control your iPod thru your HU and displays all the data onto the LCD.

Next cheapest alternative is to get a 3.5mm to RCA cable and plug into the Line-in of your HU (if there is one)

ya.. i suspect he sell me ipod controller cable... which i don really need cos i be changing song thru my ipod itself... i only need a cable that can transmitt song to my car audio system... i remember i last time saw a cable in a magazine which cost about $60... just a simple cable which connect to the HU i think... but i forget which shop is selling that... :(

btw is a Sony... Xpiod... forget which model le..... didnt really go and check

yep.. it does help... thx thx.. thx for those who reply and lend their helping hands... :)

I am oso looking for one. So which is the one you decide to get? :)

I'm not too sure about all these gizmos myself, but is the belkin casette adapter gd?

FM transmitters will give you the same limited sound quality even if you have the best in the market. The reason simply being that the bandwidth of the audio signal is limited. Your deep low bass and high sounds will be missing.

But if you can't hear the diff between broadcast and CD then it won't be a problem for you.
