At this moment I can only afford 2 weekends... will see how along the way. Sulhan is the grand daddy for newbie courses, so he might do some when he is back.

Haha... thanks again for helping. I think basically your camera, a bottle of water for yourself (hope it won't be too hot), and a print out of the notes (that I'll be sending out later) will do. I would love to have a notebook computer to show the photos taken for illustration on the spot, but I don't have one. Anyone?

We will start with some theory follow by practice session. I (and you guys/gals) will also take some pictures along the way following the course contents. What we are going to cover is mentioned in the 1st post. I'll be sending out notes to you all later (which you are expected to print out a copy yourself and bring it there).

I guess for such a session, hands on would be good. So you will benefit a lot if you were to bring your camera, so that if you have any questions of settings, you can ask ziploc on the spot.

If you don't have a camera, having pen and paper would help a lot, as you may want to note down some things down.

Hmm... think you will also need to bring some money, to treat ziploc to a drink after the session too!! :bsmilie:

Hi cs_sim,

Hmm... that's entirely up to you depending how much you want to experiment and shoot. What I have in mind is for you all to try out the stuffs in the course content with a digital camera, so that you can see what I'm talking about immediately. You can still shoot and experiment with film, just that you need to note down the frame and roll number and relate them to the course content. If you really want a figure, I would say maybe 2-3 rolls?

And you are welcome. I'm glad to be able to assist you all and help promote photography as a hobby.
