imho, this thread is gg way ot... dun mind if i drop a few kind words here...

honestly, i would support toto38's idea of doing a session tt would help the others....

buten again, i tink to improve, its not gg to help if 10-20 ppl all end up shooting the model, u tink u are improving her portfolio tt way, tt way most are juz jostling for space to shoot man...tt would defn give ppl the wrong impression about you guys...

imho, its better to do 2-1 shoots, where photogs can pair up and help one another out... which basically means when one is shooting the other is assisting... this way u get to learn the one thing tt is important in shooting which is direction and communication...instead of a group shooting and all u can do is say look here....

wif group shots, most end up wif the same photos too.... if the group is smaller, u guys could get in touch wif them and plan out the styling/hair concept and location and all before u all start shooting....tt would add depth to ya shoots man.....

Bree is from Xi-an, a mix of Chinese-Uigur and is here to do some studies in our leading Uni. :thumbsup: She is not only beautiful but highly talented and educated. Like many modern young girls, she likes to have some nice photos of herself, especially in her case, those toward the soft-artistic type. She posted here with some of her past works and didnt expect such overwhelming responses and she really felt bad that she didnt really know how to answer to so many of the ppl here .... please be more understanding with her.
Those "daring" pics of her are only the more conservative ones that she has and has been around in the internet for quite some times.
She is looking only for 1 to 1 shooter because she wants to do it right and good. She is expecting a certain standard from the photographer as she doesn't mind going "all the way " if the photg can show her a positive result....some standard like the one she posted of another model.... as such, plse dont waste time if you a newbie or are not confident. I can see there are only about a dozen good ones here, ....
Because of the nature of the shoot, it is conditional that her bf will be around during the shoot :sweat:. Place wise, she is ok and comfortable with yr suggestion, preferably a nice indoor. Outfits wise .... dont really need much, and her own collection should suffice. Makeup and hairstylist - if the photogy can afford, maybe can be kind to supply since she is just a undergraduate.
So if you think you can handle her request, by all means try to pm her. She is really a nice girl from oversea ..:lovegrin:

Hi~ everyone,

these days, I talked with some photographers. And I still can not set up my mind. I was acting like a ostrich who is keeping hiding her head in the sands. I am not daring as my photos. I hardly just say NO. that is kind of rudeness in my point of view. Furthermore, my thing is like i knew some photographer , but did not know well. I myself feel confused that which person is the one i am looking for. I am quite unconfident about my perspicacity here, coz i am a newbie and i know little about photograph. maybe, for some photo works, in my eyes they are very impressive. but later in other professionals' won't agree. So i am still in mess and "mass" communication stage now.

I think photographers also got the right to choose me. So I sincerely hope those photographer who really wanna work with me come close to me , while those just want to try it out can just give me up. so I can see my RIGHT photographer here. And any offence here, I apologize for my words.

Anyway, I won't be voluteering to shoot for her because I'm not specialize in this style. My intention is to find out what type of shoot she wants. No offence here. But I believe that this shoot won't get start until next month if more and more photograher want to join in the shoot without knowing Bree's purpose for this thread. It will be better to know what style she want and to let the rest of the photographer here whether are they specialize in this style.

I agree with what you have said..We should not have doubts or even projects a judgemental attitude about others, least we are being judge ourselves.

Photography is an art, an art of expression and so do models, photographers, the man on the street..They have the freedom to expression.. Whether in graphical representation, in words or in action..
