Intention of getting a new camera Backpack

i rather u buy everything from TK photo, you can find everything there.

Agreed.. Sirui, Think Tank, Lowepro can all be bought from TK. The tripods and bags at the show has a very small variety.

Go to TK and you can even get uncle philip to show you how to use the tripod. He spent an hour plus showing me the different tripods and how to use the one that I was particular interested in. That's before I even bought anything from him...

Actually I like to know, I always has been using camera sling bags, If travel, wont thief steal your lens from your backpack in crowded streets?

Not if you are using the lowepro flipside series. That's the reason why I choose the flipside 200 for travel :p most of the time I got too carried away.

if they wan, they can steal it from u regardless of where it is.

i read on this forum abt a guy losing his 24-70 lense when his cam was sling on his neck.
he was travellin in russia if i recalled correctly.

definitely, but I thought that sling bag is more safe than backpack ma, you dont know if someone is opening your bag from behind but sometime, all sling bag, very heavy sia lol..

Will definitely check the flipside 200

Buy backpack with those lockable zip (don't know how to call it), can put number lock on the zip. I got a TT HD backpack which I lock it when I walking inside the crowd, or when taking a nap during transiting at airports. Not totally thief proof but better than nothing.

Lowepro Fastpack 250. It doesnt look pretty but gets the job done and doesnt cost an arm and a leg for a camera backpack.

Still deciding between the messenger or a camera backpack. WAH I saw the billingham harley models! DAMN CHIO LA but the price also chio. :(

PM your contact, probably I will be gg next week. Your inbox full la

How about Karachi Outpost from Crumpler. Open from behind... when you are carrying it, nobody else can open the bag. Good for security and looks but weight, price and function wise (as in changing lens etc) will definately take a hit.

Hi all, first of all sorry TS for hi-jacking your thread a bit...

Go for kata 466i or bigger one 467i

the only Thinktank backpack that can fit a 14" laptop is the Streetwalker HardDrive. I have this bag, and it is HUGE! You definitely need to try it before you get one.

I think the Thinktank Shapeshifter can fit a 14" laptop and may be a better choice.
