Oh.. you mean the NX viewer is able to view photo taken instantly?.. so to say i just need a USB cable to connect my D90 to laptop will do?

I believe you are referring to tethered shooting.
no, there is no free software for Nikon, you can purchase Nikon Camera Control Pro 2, Capture One 5 PRO or Bibble

yes... oh that call tethered shooting...

WOW.. those price of the software is abit expensive....

Haiz... still thought there are some 3rd party software that i can use!...

or you can get Lightroom 3. Give you editing power and Tethered shooting.

if you're a student/teacher can always go for lightroom 3. great piece of software IMO

Canon cameras comes with free Canon software that allows teethered shooting.

I think even some of these point and shoot like G11 does allow teethered shooting.

Dam!... maybe Nikon should come out free one too!!!.... ;p

How u do it with light room 3? Do I need any add on or any extra long cable for it?
just configure it will do..

If distance too far.. you need a USB repeater cable.

Google search for "nikon tethered software"

yes, there are free options for Nikon cameras (at least for those post D200/D80)... I have used DCamCapture successfully in Win XP, Vista 64 and Win 7 64... no frills but it works, and it is based on Nikon's own SDK...

ok.. will search the webby... hope there one for D90....
