i have a few questions about infrared:

1) what is infrared?
2) is it compatible with DSLRs? i own a 350D.
3) how much would it cost?
4) where can i get one cheap?

I've seen the lovely effects that IR can do for film photography.. wondering if it can be applied to DSLR?

If can't find the info, just post a question in the IR Forum, the group here is a friendly lot and most experienced in IR, I can attest to that.
