hi folks! like to find out from those who are more knowledgeble in this lens. :)i was poking around on evilBAY for available light lens (no.... not the noctilux...) when i came across references to this lens. read up a bit about this lens online. apparently, there are (?) two versions of this lens? one for canon 7 and the other for TV? are there any difference bet these two once they are converted to M-mount? TIA!

The lens for the Canon 7/7s/7sZ is Rangefinder coupled. Some of the TV lenses are also Rangefinder coupled, but most are not. So the conversion process for TV lens involves an addition step. Meaning more room for errors and **** up. I've seen a lot of blotched jobs floating around.

Cheers.

Some test shots of a M mounted rangefinder coupled Canon TV Lens 50mm f0.95 with M9.

DNG direct from camera, only WB adjustment, no sharpening or further LR processing.

Focusing point: rewind knob of the Leica Standard camera
