Increased toll fee to RM 20 for Singapore vehicles entering Malaysia

Will the toll fee hike stop Singaporeans from going to Malaysia like JB for shopping, eating, etc? The answer is No, given the sharp depreciation of the RM recently, many Singaporeans flocked to Malaysia for shopping spree. What is RM 20 to them?

no difference. it's only an increase at the causeway tolls, not the entire Malaysia.

unless of course parking, other toll charges along the highways, eateries demand to see ID before you pay etc are the future of heading into malaysia, so as to charge Singaporeans extra :bsmilie:

I always put on an old Tshirt and shorts and wear Japanese slippers when I enter JB.

I once went in tight-fitting sports wear..... and got hauled up by customs to the front of the queue. Since then I upsized to baggy tee and berms :bsmilie:
