Hi I got them from Photo City Digital Lab in Ladprao, opposite central world Ladprao. MRT station is Phahorn Yothin. That whole row of shop houses have many photo labs, and are of pretty big size. You may also want to get some film developed there. Its thb$50 for each c41 roll.

In town area, you can also go to the shop near Asia hotel, its right next to the staircase leading up to the BTS with a Kodak billboard outside. You won't miss it for sure.

Pack of 5 rolls of portra 400 = thb$1050

Hope that helps.

anyone know where is the cheapest place shop to get Fujifilm / Kodak now?

I read good news the other day about Kodak committing to the movie industry. This bodes well for the camera user. It has bought time for the film user maybe.

anyone know where is the cheapest place shop to get Fujifilm / Kodak now?

you can try ebay for bricks of 10, Amazon sometimes has offers or Freestyle supplies - google for the site! Good luck!

Heard Ruby is now charging $10+ for a roll of Kodak Tri-X 120 ah? How can afford shooting B&W like that??

Anyone got lorbang for cheaper B&W films not ?

Hp5 120 should still be 8 or so!

Or bulk buy from US :)

Judging from the amount of film shooters these days, they will have to mark up to continue surviving.

Unless of course everyone decides to ship from the US. Ruby can jolly well close shop.

Demand is not as it was.

I was charged $10.70 for a 135mm tri-x at Ruby. Triple-D in Bencoolen is selling the same film at $9.50. That is quite a big % difference and I was quite shocked why Ruby sells them more expensive.

If you want to buy a lot at 1 go, you can try konota at peninsula also. The lady boss offers some slight discount if you buy alot. No harm trying there also.

I am avoiding Ruby for negatives for now....

Just ordered 40 rolls of Tri-x from the U.S. Including shipping each roll is about S$7.5.

So big difference. How to support local shops? Haiz.

local shops now looking more like a chopping board... even film developing and scanning is expensive...

Exactly and bulk rolled Delta 400 works out about $3.50, ordered 8x100" rolls, that's about 150 rolls of 36 exp, enough for a year or so. Add about 20 cents for Hc110 and fixer and 30 cents for sleeve, about 4 dollars per roll.

Hp5 here should still be 85 bucks per bulk roll.

Shipping from USA pushes it up to being about the same price. Makes it 5 bucks per roll if you buy from Ruby

Yep, still better than the quoted $10.70 for a roll of Tri-X then paying $6-7 for development.
Every time I get the feel for C41 (wife's pressure), I cringe.
Color film is not affordable in 35mm as much as I would like it.

Demand is not as it was.

So now Ruby would 'have to mark up (further) to continue surviving' ?!
Good luck to them.

Basic business.

Well, at any rate, film is a dying trade.

Yep, need more hipsters to keep it alive.

Heads up for film kakis, portra 400 120 back in stock at amazon around 9 or so a roll
