Btw, does anyone knows how to prevent jpeg compression side effects ?

Shoot RAW and convert to jpg at quality 12 then don't touch it again.

Always like motion action shot....you can consider cropping off the top right hand space for a tighter framing and draw attention on the person being tosh around. IMHO. :sweat:

anybody can suggest me a cheap lens with very good bokeh? i think 30mm 1.4 can produce good bokeh, isnt it? but i dunno the price how much, can anyone inform please..

Sigma 30mm f/1.4 bokeh are indeed very nice, may be slightly smoother edge than 50mm.

For this shot, the bokeh is a bit weird. ;p

Sigma 30mm f/1.4 bokeh are indeed very nice, may be slightly smoother edge than 50mm.

because the background is very noisy :sweat:

but it's definitely better than my 28mm f/1.8, which I am thinking of letting go soon, unless Sony is confirm coming out with a full frame sensor :think:

Talk about wide open sharpness! This baby is ruthless ( the lens of cause). But do you feel this lens is good for portraiture?

I’ve one from the Minolta 85mm G taken at f2.2 just for comparison. Think it’s much easier on the skin. Your take?
