my X100 - its like carrying a gun on the street with a silencer attached!!! :cool:

Take out the UV filter and try. Am of the opinion once that is out, the flare is significantly reduced by the lack of internal reflection between the front of the lens elements and the back side of the UV lens.

Unfortunately, taking the UV filter off does not help at all.
This shot was taken with the UV filter off immediately after I encountered the flaring problem with the filter on the camera. The flare caused by the strong backlight was just as bad as if the UV filter was on.

The high ISO performance of the X100 is really good though from these ISO 3200 indoor shots.

I saw this cat on the street today....she suddenly walk toward me...MIOW!!!..so i just give her an AV shot! haha!
direct from FUJI X100 raw file,(no special pp)just some level & curve tweaking & image cropped.

this cat is from FIGHT CLUB! lol
She got very sharp CLAWs,
she got one BROKEN left ear & SCARS on her face too...haha
