Great Camera and let's hope it stays this way and I will be a happy man with a new camera that is small and light enough to be in my bag whenever and wherever I go.

Here's a picture taken in B/W using the macro function. Camera and subject were very close to another when taking this picture.

Takes a while to focus as the focusing ring is rather small to manage. I have big hands. Nevertheless, once you nailed it, the output is very satisfying. Love the depth of field at f/2.0.
 

You need to stop down to f4 at least for sharp image at macro mode. Try it and see for urself.

This camera is definitely going to be a great everyday camera. Capturing expression is a bliss and the color and dynamic range this product is capable of is simply awesome!

I was not lookng at stopping down for sharper output. I deliberate use f/2.0 and also reduce the in-camera sharpness to produce the softer effect. Nevertheless, thanks for pointing out the need to step down for sharper image.

You need to stop down to f4 at least for sharp image at macro mode. Try it and see for urself.
