Yeah, still work but what's the point. This lens is designed for FF to get the best out of the 35mm perspective. It becomes a neither here nor there lens on a cropped body.

The Art 30mm F1.4 DC HSM would make more sense.

Hi 6dsigma35, saw your pics in flickr, very nice. I'm thinking which to get 35mm f1.4 DG or 24-70 f2.8 VC, which you have both.
could you briefly comment on your experience with these 2 lens? I have several lens already, but none in this range/f-stop so exploring which to get. I mainly do walkaround/abstract photos. thanks!

Got it for the nikon mount....was lucky to have bought from a fellow Clubsnapper for $900 who bought it in Aug. Thus have more than 2 years of warranty left since he registered on-line within 14 days of purchase, which Sigma will give an additional 6 months of warranty.

hahahaha.....I am also using the D600....have been searching high and low for this until I got "lucky".....Going holiday end of this month...will try to post some when back....but I did try a few sample shot...and they looked GREAT.....no regrets......

The lens was quite hot when newly released,as with most good lenses. But after a while when supply catches up and the fever dies down,it should be easier to get and price softens.

Upgraded to this Sigma lens last Monday. Mine was having front focus problem and sometimes miss totally. So I have it calibrated at Sigma Ctr today and wow what a difference it makes, all tack sharp now.

I'm very relieved and happy now even if Sigma inconvenience its customers by not getting it right the first time (for me).
