Images For A Rock Concert

If it is a "true to form" rock concert... You would be hard pressed with anything slower than ISO800 f/2.8 (or whatever combination of settings you prefer)

Most if not all of my concert shots were made on fast primes or zooms. 50/1.4, 135/2 if it is really dark and the lighting engineer refuses to hear your pleas to turn up the front lights that wee bit. 24-70/2.8, 70-200/2.8 when the arena is better lit.

Get the 85 f1.8 / f1.4 or 70-200 f2.8. The 70-200 f2.8 can be marginally brighter than 85, when it is at the tele end towards 200mm. You would still need to use high iso.

And you might need to buy the more expensive concert tickets to stand closer.
